About

Jessi Burch is a New York City-based designer and maker specializing in contemporary design crafted from fine materials. With a decade of experience as a metalsmith exploring both silver and gold, Jessi creates jewelry that serves as wearable sculptures for the body, with an emphasis on bold yet organic forms.

In the Fall of 2024, Jessi made her entrance into the world of interiors, debuting a sterling silver cutlery set that reimagines functional art for the modern home. Inspired by the "Seven Ball Chair" by renowned architect and designer Josef Hoffmann, Jessi viewed her love for the chair as an opportunity to explore how she could create a piece that would pair purely aesthetics to functional utility.

Using what she had learned in jewelry production and applying it towards objects for the home, a prototype for a fork was hand carved. Letting the connection to the iconic Hoffmann chair guide any interpretations along the way, resulted into what is now a three piece item, the Seven Ball Cutlery Set.

As Jessi Burch broadens her scope of design from jewelry to the world of home goods, this collection signals an exciting new direction. The debut of her homeware line will offer collectors, design enthusiasts, and interior decorators a fresh way to engage with her work, transforming everyday items into conversation pieces.
